EXPLORATION I & II / PAINTING

In 2014 i started this two paintings, after a long trip around Greece, where i got inspirations, visited many historical places and also visited abandoned buildings and factories about the crisis, where i found so many interesting materials to work with. Now few years later i had time to finish this two paintings.
Exploration I & II are two paintings about the inner and exterior self exploration, using nautical references as the Compass Rose as a symbol of the multiple directions that our lives can take in our wold exploration, depending of our decisions and searching. And a mirror as an symbolic element that shows how we are, our inner self, the reflection of our thoughts, knowledge, desires and feelings.
